P.S. My Novel Thoughts...

These days I'm reading a novel called "P.S. I Love You". Many of you must have seen the movie but somehow I don't have the movie & never got to watch it too and could just manage to buy the book itself. The basic idea behind the entire set-up is quite interesting when Gerry(the dying husband)- for those of you who've come across neither the book nor the movie- leaves notes for her wife Holly before he leaves the world. And for those of you who are wondering that I'll write a summary of the entire novel here for you to take the pancake of the gist, you are higly mistaken! No no no. You'll have to read the entire 500 long sheets to know just like me. To begin with, I'm really not a reader by nature. I just find the entire idea of reading novels or magazines (and especially text books) very tiring. I get scared like a child whenever I see those big fat novels lying here & there. And I know this would sound utterly ridiculously childish to all the born reading fanatics, but I would always love to hear the end of the novel if I'm reading any. So, if I like it, I'd read on and if I don't I would merrily throw it away. And guess what, I'm surrounded by people who always end up recommending the entire bible-looking sheets binded in a pretty cover & tell me to "experience the magic!!". I never get to hear the climax but I respect them all for that though. But somehow I've noticed these days that though it still takes me long enough to read a novel as compared to a normal 5th standard kid, still I get engrossed in the novel very much though. Exremism I guess! Well anyways, for those of you who have been a part of the spectator side of P.S. I Love You, I'll let you know when I finish it. I'm still half way... which is quite an achievement for me! Isn't it?
